My name is Katarzyna Lepich. I hold a Master's degree in Nursing with over ten years of clinical experience.

I have been practicing permanent makeup since January 2024. Currently, I specialize mainly in the machine hair stroke method and permanent freckle pigmentation – these are techniques that allow me to fully utilize my creative potential and love for natural beauty.

I perform each procedure with great respect for the human body, extraordinary attention to detail, and an uncompromising approach to aseptics and antiseptics.

Permanent eyebrow makeup using the machine hair stroke method

A modern eyebrow pigmentation method in which individual hairs are created using a PMU machine, not a blade. The skin is not cut, as with microblading. Pigment is introduced gently and precisely using single-use sterile cartridges, which allows for a natural effect and better healing. This method is recommended for those seeking a long-lasting, natural effect without a clearly defined lower line as in the powder method. The hair stroke method also works perfectly for men or people with alopecia who are completely hairless.

The machine hair stroke method is a very delicate technique in which the pigment is introduced into the shallowest layers of the epidermis, usually at the border of the epidermis and the dermis, in the so-called basal layer, which distinguishes it from tattooing, which goes deeper. Most clients experience only slight discomfort, but the level of sensitivity remains an individual characteristic of the body.
The effect achieved with the machine hair stroke method is subtle and natural, so the pigment fades gently and gradually. Depending on skin type, tissue regeneration, and individual lifestyle, the result usually lasts from 12 to 24 months.
The procedure is safe if performed by a qualified person following strict hygiene rules. Any procedure involving breaking the continuity of the epidermis requires the use of single-use sterile equipment (so-called cartridges), certified pigments, and adherence to general aseptic and antiseptic principles. Due to my medical education and over 10 years of clinical practice, safety and work hygiene are something I pay special attention to. Also important for client safety is proper qualification for the procedure, exclusion of viral diseases (e.g., active herpes), infections, or other contraindications that actually affect the safety of the procedure and the healing process.
The healing process in most cases proceeds very gently. Immediately after the procedure, the eyebrows are more intense in color, but this effect gradually softens. There is also redness in the treated area, which disappears after a few hours. After a few days, subtle exfoliation of the epidermis may occur without visible scab formation. The final result and full pigment stabilization are usually visible after 4-6 weeks.
The price of permanent makeup performed with the machine hair stroke method primarily reflects the work time necessary to create eyebrows with this method. In the case of powder eyebrows, the procedure takes about 1.5h-2h, while with the hair stroke method it is usually 2.5h to even 3.5h depending on the complexity of the design and eyebrow density. This method is the most demanding of the available eyebrow pigmentation techniques on the market and requires enormous work outside the studio, including practicing drawing and hair patterns, so that each eyebrow can be maximally individualized.
A consultation is recommended as it allows assessment of skin condition, direction of natural hair growth, discussion of the client's realistic expectations and the practitioner's capabilities. The consultation is a place to rule out any contraindications. Before arranging a consultation, the client is always asked to familiarize themselves with the TERMS AND CONDITIONS and the CLIENT INFORMATION SHEET. In exceptional cases, when the client cannot appear for a consultation, I also conduct online consultations.
Contraindications include, among others, pregnancy, breastfeeding, unregulated autoimmune diseases, blood clotting problems, active inflammatory skin conditions in the eyebrow area, and allergy to pigment ingredients. In case of doubt, a detailed health interview is conducted before the procedure. You can find more contraindications in the CLIENT INFORMATION SHEET.
After the procedure, you can return to daily duties, but for several days you should avoid activities that could irritate the skin or affect the healing process. This applies to using saunas and pools, intense training, and applying makeup in the eyebrow area. Proper post-procedure care promotes durability and even pigment retention. Each client receives detailed post-procedure recommendations and the necessary post-procedure preparation after the treatment.
